Pet Salon Tycoon — Privacy Policy
Last updated: [date of publication] · Policy version 1
Who we are
Pet Salon Tycoon is made by Efe Kerim Ayvaz, Türkiye ("we"). Contact for anything in this policy, including deletion requests: hello@imperial64.dev.
The short version
- The game plays fully offline. Your salon, your progress and your settings stay on your device.
- Play statistics are off until you say yes. After you set up your salon the game asks once whether you want to share anonymous play statistics. "Not now" is a full answer and the question does not come back (unless this policy changes in a way that needs your consent again).
- You can switch statistics on or off at any time in Pause › Privacy or Title › Privacy, and Delete my data there erases what was sent.
- The statistics contain no names and nothing you type, and they are not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Ads only when you ask for one. In the phone apps you may choose to watch an ad to double a day's earnings or to treat your team to coffee. Nothing is sent to the ad provider (Google) until you tap Watch. There are no banners and no ads that play by themselves. The web version has no ads at all.
- One optional purchase, the No Ads pack, which lets you claim both bonuses without watching. The App Store or Google Play handles the payment.
What the statistics contain (only if you switch them on)
| Data (plain words) | Examples | Apple data type | Play Data safety type |
|---|---|---|---|
| A random anonymous id | a random code such as 3f1c… made on your device when you say yes | NSPrivacy | Device or other IDs · Tracking: no |
| How the game is played | days reached, mini-games started, finished or left and their quality, hires, upgrades bought, loan payments, goals and badges, settings changed, tutorial steps, session length, which ad offers were shown and whether you watched them, whether you bought or restored the No Ads pack | NSPrivacy | App activity › App interactions · Tracking: no |
| Errors | a shortened error message with e-mail addresses, web addresses and long numbers removed, the place in the game's code where it happened | NSPrivacy | App info and performance › Crash logs · Tracking: no |
| Speed | frame times, frames per second, particle counts per day | NSPrivacy | App info and performance › Diagnostics · Tracking: no |
The statistics about ads and the purchase never contain a price, a receipt, an order number, Google's consent string or your advertising identifier.
Each batch of statistics also carries coarse facts about the device and the game: the game version, the platform (web, Android or iOS), whether it runs as an installed app, the language you chose, your time-zone offset, the screen size and pixel ratio, and a rough memory and processor-core bucket. The server adds a two-letter country code worked out by our hosting provider from the connection; the connection's IP address itself is never stored or logged.
What the statistics never collect
Your salon name, pet or staff names, anything you type, your IP address, your precise location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID) or a device fingerprint. The statistics have no account and no login. The anonymous id is not derived from your device; it is a random number that you can replace at any time with Delete my data.
Why we collect it, and the legal basis
To understand how far players get, which mini-games are too hard or too easy, where the tutorial loses people, and whether the game crashes or runs slowly on some devices, so we can improve it. The only legal basis we rely on is your consent (for example Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / UK GDPR, and the equivalent rules in other countries such as KVKK in Türkiye, LGPD in Brazil and the CPRA in California). You can withdraw it at any time; withdrawing does not affect what was sent before.
Statistics are not used for advertising, profiling or automated decisions about you, and they are not sold.
Who receives it
The statistics are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our own small server, which runs on [Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1, operated by Cloudflare, Inc., as our hosting provider / processor; data stored in the [western Europe] region]. The hosting provider processes the data only to run the server for us. We do not share the statistics with anyone else, including Google. What Google receives when you watch an ad is described under Advertising.
How long we keep it
- Raw statistics: 90 days, then they are deleted automatically.
- After that, only anonymous daily totals remain (for example "120 players reached day 5 on [date]"). These totals contain no ids and cannot be linked back to you.
- After Delete my data, the id's statistics are erased from the server at once, the id is kept on a block list for 30 days so that late batches are thrown away, and your device gets a new random id. The game shows "Requested; done within 30 days". If you are offline, the request is sent the next time you are online.
Your choices and rights
- Switch off: Pause › Privacy › Share anonymous statistics › Off. The game stops sending at once and discards anything it had not sent yet.
- Delete: Pause › Privacy › Delete my data.
- Access, correction, deletion by e-mail: write to hello@imperial64.dev with the anonymous id shown in Pause › Privacy ("Your anonymous id"). Without that id we cannot find your data, because we do not know who you are.
- You may also complain to your data-protection authority.
Children
The game is made for a general audience and is not directed at children. Because children may still play it, the statistics are designed to need no personal information at all: they are off by default, contain no names, no free text, no location and no advertising ids, and can be deleted in the game. Ads are only ever shown when the player taps Watch, are limited to content rated for everyone, and the offers can be switched off in Pause › Privacy › Ad offers.
Advertising (phone apps only)
The game is free. In the Android and iPhone apps, two offers let you watch a short ad if you want to: Double today's earnings on the evening summary and Team coffee in the morning. Ads never play by themselves, never interrupt a shift and never appear in the web version. The ads are served by Google (Google Mobile Ads / AdMob) and are limited to content suitable for everyone.
- Nothing happens until you tap Watch. The ad software stays switched off until then, and you can hide the offers altogether with Pause › Privacy › Ad offers.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland Google's consent form asks for your choices the first time you tap Watch. You can change them later in Pause › Privacy › Ad privacy options.
- On iPhone the game asks once, right before the first ad, whether you allow tracking (Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, after a short explanation from Google). If you allow it, Google may use your advertising identifier to personalise the ads you choose to watch; if you do not, the ads are not personalised with it. Your bonus is the same either way. You can change the answer at any time in the iPhone's Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the phone's settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Security & privacy › Ads, depending on the phone).
When you watch an ad, Google receives the information any ad network gets. Following Google's own disclosure:
| Data (plain words) | Apple data type | Play Data safety type |
|---|---|---|
| A device identifier: your advertising identifier if you allowed tracking, otherwise identifiers limited to this app | NSPrivacy | Device or other IDs · Tracking: yes |
| Your general location, estimated from your IP address | NSPrivacy | Approximate location · Tracking: yes |
| Which ads you saw | NSPrivacy | App activity › Other actions · Tracking: yes |
| Interactions with the ad (app launch, taps, video views) | NSPrivacy | App activity › App interactions · Tracking: yes |
| Crash logs of the ad software | NSPrivacy | Crash logs · Tracking: yes |
| Performance data of the ad software | NSPrivacy | Diagnostics · Tracking: yes |
| Other diagnostics of the ad software | NSPrivacy | Other app performance data · Tracking: yes |
We do not send Google your name, your salon, your play statistics or anything you type. Google processes this data under its own policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy (and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites for how Google uses data from apps that use its services). Report an inappropriate ad in Pause › Privacy › Report an ad or with the "Why this ad?" control inside the ad.
Purchases
The only thing for sale is the one-time No Ads pack. The payment is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. The game only learns whether the pack is owned and keeps that on your device, so it survives starting a new game; Restore purchases (in the No Ads sheet) asks the store again, for example after reinstalling.
| Data (plain words) | Apple data type | Play Data safety type |
|---|---|---|
| Whether you own the No Ads pack | NSPrivacy | Handled by Google Play Billing · Tracking: no |
Storage on your device
The game keeps your save, your settings, your statistics choice, your ad-offer setting, whether you own the No Ads pack and (if statistics are on) a queue of statistics not yet sent in your device's local storage. Google's ad software keeps its own consent record on the device. No cookies are used. On the web, the game's offline files are cached by a service worker; that cache holds only the game itself.
Changes
If we change what the statistics contain or how they are used, we update this page and the policy version. If the change needs your consent again, the game asks again and sends nothing new until you answer.
